BackerKit surveys are on the way!

Hello Gamers
We've sent out our BackerKit surveys to ALL backers! Please make sure you check your spam folder and whitelist backerkit.com in your mailbox so you can receive the links to the surveys. Alternatively, if you already have a BackerKit account, you can log in and check your backed project list to find your survey link.
Surveys will be sent to the email you used during this Kickstarter campaign. If you ever changed your account email or if you signed in through Apple ID, please send us a private message via KS and provide your main email so I can send the survey to you.
Here is a quick recap of the credit card processing dates, details can be found in the previous update.
Add-ons Will be Charged on October 31st, 2022
If you did not add more items to your existing Kickstarter pledge, then you will not be charged at this time. You will still be able to change your delivery address.
Shipping Will be Charged on January 31st, 2023
Your delivery address will also be locked at this time. We should be able to display your shipping costs during checkout sometime between November ~ January.

BackerKit Smoke Test & Credit Card Charging Dates

Hello Gamers
We are finally ready to roll out the BackerKit pledge manager, and the surveys will go out to everyone soon, hopefully early next week. Before we can do so, we need to do the “Smoke Test” to send a beta version of the surveys to a small random selection of backers for beta testing. These will be sent out today; if you receive it, please complete it and let us know if there are any problems or anything we could improve.
Don't worry if you did not get the survey; I will make another announcement next week when the rest of the surveys are sent out.
Add-ons Will be Charged on October 31st
Shipping Will be Charged on January 31st
I’d like to try a new feature of BackerKit this time, which will let us split the credit card processing of the pledge manager into two steps: once for Add-ons, once for Shipping.
As you may have noticed, it has become increasingly difficult to predict how shipping prices will evolve in the next 6 months. A lot of publishers have been surprised by increased freight quotes months after they collected shipping fees from backers, and have to face the difficult choice of eating the extra costs, or risk the wrath of backers if they ask for more money.
This new feature will let us be able to confirm the latest shipping quotes for Q1 2023 before we collect shipping fees from you, thus greatly lowering the risk for everyone. Hopefully it will not be too far off from my current estimates, but if there are price increases I will be sure to communicate with you beforehand.
We plan to lock orders and charge backers for add-ons on October 31st, 2022. If you did not add more items to your existing Kickstarter pledge, then you will not be charged at this time. You will still be able to change your delivery address.
We get a lot of extra orders for playmats & inserts during the pledge manager phase, and we will have to lock your orders and collect the funds to manufacture them. If you are on a $1 pledge level, please upgrade before the end of October so we can get accurate counts for the factory.
Unfortunately, when enabling this new feature, BackerKit will not display the estimated shipping cost for you at this time. I have updated the shipping chart (available here) with the weights for ALL-IN pledge levels. Please refer to that chart to estimate your shipping costs.
We plan to charge shipping costs on January 31st, 2023, and your delivery address will also be locked at this time. We should be able to display your shipping costs during checkout sometime between November ~ January; but since this is also new for me, I am not sure about this part yet.
I want to make sure that you receive the best value for becoming our backer, and I'm very grateful for your patience, understanding, and support. BackerKit Delays & Essen SPIEL 2022

Hello Gamers
The pledge manager for this project is taking longer to set up than expected. We ended up having a lot more add-on items in this campaign than I originally planned. I hope to get it online within another 1-2 weeks, and I will set a soft deadline to close it at the end of October.
This is because we’re trying to get the games produced before the end of the year so they can be on a boat before the Lunar New Year holidays begin in mid January. You can still adjust your pledge and change your delivery address after October, but we won’t guarantee availability of add-ons.

It feels great to return to Essen SPIEL this year. I haven’t been able to travel around the world for a long time, and I can’t wait to go meet all our fans and friends again. Do stop by our booth at Hall 4 Booth D103 and say hi if you are visiting Essen SPIEL this year!
As per previous years, we will be taking preorders for Essen Pickup. Since  the amount we can bring to Germany is limited, please head over to our Webstore and preorder now to ensure you can get your hands on our games at Essen.

Hello Gamers!
We cannot believe the Kickstarter campaign has finally come to an end! We are extremely grateful to you all for believing in us and making the expansion packs possible. Thank you for taking this ride with us.Â
We had some hurdles along the way, but it has been a great journey and I have enjoyed sharing with you backers over the last few weeks. I also want to say thank you to everyone that provided feedback in the comments, which gave us new ideas that made the campaign even better. Thank you and I hope you have enjoyed the journey too!
We have been overwhelmed by the support for Mini Express Map Packs on Kickstarter, with $77,233 USD in funding and 1,369 backers who believed in us and decided to support us. We’re incredibly grateful to each and every one of you and the team at Moaideas Games Design would like to thank you for making this project a reality.
We are already working on the pledge manager and it will be launched in 3-4 weeks. It is our priority to set it up accurately and without errors, and I will let you know as soon as it is ready to launch. Please stay tuned for our announcements.

Final Call for Boarding!

Hello Gamers!
I know we could do it! We've just reached the $70k stretch goal, so next up we will be upgrading stickers into UV-printing on the wooden stations, bridges, boats, and other wooden components unlocked in this campaign!
Thank you all for your support, we have less than 12 hours left on Kickstarter, and I believe we still have a chance to unlock the last stretch goal in the final rush before the end of the campaign. Full steam ahead for the Token Engravings! Let's keep this momentum going!
Sample from our previous Jiangnan campaign
As shown in the image above, this upgrade will let us engrave the designs directly onto the wooden tokens with laser etching. This will cut through the paint to reveal the wood texture below, creating a very clear contrast of the design. We have already made samples of this process for our previous game Jiangnan, and it really looks cool and feels special in your hands.
This was one of the most requested upgrades in the comments, and it's been a popular suggestion on our previous campaign as well. So please help us share and spread the word about Mini Express! Let's unlock this goal together during our last few hours of this campaign!
