Shipping Update: Successful Docking and Upcoming Deliveries

We hope this update finds you well. We're here to share some positive news regarding the shipping progress. The cargo ships bound for the EU, UK and US have successfully docked at their respective ports, bringing your games safely to shore.

We're currently in touch with our local hubs to ensure that the games go through customs without any hiccups. They expect to start shipping to backers within 2-3 weeks. Also, a friendly reminder: it's time to lock in your shipping details on the system. I’ve sent a notice via BackerKit, so you can follow the instructions to update your address. But if you have any issues with the process, just let us know and we’ll sort it out for you.

Shipping Date Confirmed & Essen Spiel!

Dear Backers,

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt apologies for the delay you've experienced. In the last update, we had aimed to have the shipments out by the end of August. Unfortunately, the process of manufacturing and multiple rounds of confirmation with the factory took significantly longer than anticipated. We are genuinely sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The good news is that we have now finalized the details with the factory. For our backers in USA and Europe, the shipping date is set. We are also in the process of confirming the shipment schedule for other regions and will keep you updated.

We will also be bringing 40 copies of the Map Pack for sale at the exhibition. This means they will be available 2-3 weeks before the Kickstarter Fulfillment date. We sincerely apologize for this shift in schedule and hope for your understanding.

Freight Shipping Delays

Hello Gamers!

As mentioned earlier, the factory was able to complete all their work by the end of July. I've been in constant communication with them to speed up the shipping process, especially after Gen Con.

With our games shipped to five different hubs around the world in the USA, Europe, United Kingdom, VFI-Asia, and Taiwan, it is essential for us to pay close attention in order to avoid any discrepancies.

However, during the verification of the Packing List for the goods bound for various hubs, we discovered a shortage in the amount of Wooden Action Tiles produced. Somewhere along the line the production amounts for the Base Game & Expansions got mixed up.

This is not a critical issue, as I did order extra for spares. Therefore, it was only needed to adjust the numbers distributed among all hubs to ensure all backers can get their add-ons. But this caused extra delays as we must double-check everything (shipping documents, carton labels, etc) again before & after repacking & rebuilding the pallets.

We anticipate that everything will be out of the factory doors by the end of August, and I will post another update then. I truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we work diligently to make sure everything is absolutely correct before the games board the ship.

My sincerest apologies for any delay that has caused you distress. After the boat leaves, it could take up to 40-50 days before reaching the Hubs, and then they will work to send them out to you as soon as possible.

Production Status and Quality Assurance

Hello Gamers!

We apologize for the absence of updates recently. I originally hoped that our other work wouldn't interfere with our communication for the Map Pack project, but we found ourselves stretched a bit thin over the past month.

To tackle this, we are revising our communication approach and allocating more resources to monitor responses & messages on all channels, particularly Kickstarter. We will strive to make progress in these areas.

More Production Delays

Today I am reaching out to you with an important update concerning the shipping of the Map Pack. Unfortunately, due to more delays at the factory, we have to push back the on-board date for another month.

The factory states that Playmats and the remaining few components are expected to be completed by August 11th. At the moment, we are constantly communicating with them to expedite the process, hoping to ship them out in the following week.

We understand that this causes a great inconvenience and wanted to express our sincere apologies for not being able to meet the deadline again.

Quality Assurance Process

Let’s shift our attention to some more positive news. During this period of production delays, we enlisted the aid of a third-party AQL inspection agency. They have been helping us carry out random inspections of 125 units of the Map Packs, and compiling the results into a 26-page report full of numbers and photos.

The results of the inspection have exceeded our expectations and have put us in an optimistic frame of mind. We believe that the quality of this print run is really really good, and the number of replacements and returns will be drastically minimized. The price of this service is quite reasonable, so we will integrate it into all of our future manufacturing plans.

I want to thank you for your support and patience. The Map Pack Collector Box production is going well and will be finished soon. I am very pleased with the quality thus far and can't wait for you to get it! Our team has worked hard to exceed your expectations, so we're sure you won't be disappointed.

Production Sample at UKGE

We will be having a booth at the UK Games Expo 2023 in Hall 1-1034, and I can't wait to personally meet everyone there. Additionally, our factory reps will hand deliver a brand-new sample box of the Map Pack straight from the production lines to me in UKGE.

This is your chance to get up close and personal with the game before anyone else, but please note that I won't have any copies to sell at UKGE - their luggage space is limited and the production process hasn't been completed yet.

Add-on Production Delays

Unfortunately, delays in the production of the Playmats & Wooden Action Tiles have arisen due to recent labor shortages and material availability at our supplier’s facility. Their current estimate is to finish all add-on production around the end of June. Thus the freight on-board date will also be pushed back to mid-July, I know that this might be frustrating for you and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I haven't locked your address in the pledge manager yet, so if you need to update your address, please log into BackerKit and you will be able to edit your address from the list of projects you have backed. Contact me or BK support if you have issues with changing your address this way.

We are doing everything we can to speed up production and maintain our high standards. I still want to make sure the final delivered product will be the best version possible. We will continue to keep you informed about any development or changes along the way. 

New Kickstarter Soon

On a positive note, we have an exciting announcement to share with you. Our next board game project will be launching on Kickstarter next month and the campaign page is nearly ready. We'd be delighted if you could check it out and perhaps give us some comments & suggestions. 

The 2 Etariya games are a set of lightweight but engaging titles that will kick off our original world-building process. Later this year we plan to have another campaign for a medium-weight Eurogame similar in scope to Mini Express, that promises to rival even our most exciting games!
